Relocation of the company to Marignier and construction of a factory to support the company’s growth.

Subprime crisis, 50% loss. Strategic response and creation of the AMS System, a patented modular moulding solution designed to maintain competitiveness.

Growth driven by innovation
Faced with the major industrial changes of the 1990s and the rise of globalisation, MODETEC has continually reinvented itself to meet the challenges of an increasingly demanding global market. In 1997, we opened our own factory in Marignier to support the growth of our business and enhance our technical capabilities.
During the subprime crisis of 2010, we suffered a 50% loss, but we innovated and bounced back by developing the AMS System. This patented modular mould solution reduces costs through a system of interchangeable cassettes. This process has become a recognised standard and is now marketed by other companies in the sector.
